OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TEMPERATURE SHUTOFF SENSOR
This product is equipped with a temperature shutoff sensor which is designed to shutoff the gas flow to the burner should
the temperature of the oil become too hot. The cooking vessel rests on the sensor which activates the temperature shutoff
device. The sensor is spring loaded to ensure proper contact with the cooking vessel. Never use a cooking vessel that
does not come in full contact with the sensor. Do not try to bypass or alter the sensor. If the shutoff sensor is triggered, the
oil in the cooking vessel must cool to approximately 325°F before the fryer can be relit. Use extreme caution when
relighting fryer. Reread all warnings and safety instructions contained in this manual about the dangers associated with hot
oil and/or the use of this product.
