Answering system operation
To record & play memos
Memos are messages you record by yourself. You
can record a memo as a reminder to yourself or
leave a message for someone else if others in your
household use the answering system.
Memos are saved, played back and deleted exactly
like incoming messages.
To record a memo
To record a memo. Press REPEAT/MEMO until the
answering system beeps. Release the button and
then begin speaking. The elapsed time (in seconds)
is shown in the message window as you record.
You can record a memo up to three minutes. Press
PLAY/STOP to exit and the screen will display
PLEASE WAIT for two seconds.
NOTE: The elapsed time in the message
window will restart from 0 after 59 seconds
recorded.
To play back a memo
Press PLAY/STOP to listen to messages, memos (see
page 26 for other options).
NOTE: When the screen displays PLEASE
WAIT, you need to wait for two seconds before
the message playback.
